On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Western Vascular Society, you are invited to participate as an Exhibitor for the 2013, 28th Annual Meeting of the Society.  The meeting dates are Saturday, September 21 through Tuesday, September 24.  The Meeting will be held at the spectacular Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, Canada.   Once again we anticipate a record attendance at our 28th Annual Meeting. Major highlights of this year’s meeting include an opportunity for attendees to take two Self-Assessment courses that meet the ABS/VSB requirements for MOC.  The pre-tests will be available.  These focused courses include a Vascular Laboratory Review Course and a Symposium on Lower Extremity Arterial Disease, the Diabetic Foot and Wound Management.  The Presidential Guest Speaker will be Dr. Spence M. Taylor, from the Greenville Hospital System and University Medical Center in Greenville, South Carolina who will speak on two topics: “Lower Extremity Arterial Disease: Allocating Resources and Producing Optimal Outcomes” and “ A Personal Journey in Leadership: The Process of Creating a New Medical School.”

 

Educational grants help to fund travel and accommodation expenses for all students, residents and fellows presenting papers for the Best Trainee Competition, as well as attending and presenting at the meeting.
