The Western Vascular Society's 28th Annual Meeting is coming up fast, September 21-24, 2013 at the spectacular Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. The Annual Meeting will begin on Sunday morning and run through Tuesday morning. Dr. York Hsiang, Local Arrangements Chair has planned a number of wonderful excursions and social programs. WVS Lower Extremity Limb Salvage Course
Vascular Laboratory Review Course
Two Symposia will be offered at this year's meeting. These focused courses include a Symposium on Lower Extremity Arterial Disease, the Diabetic Foot and Wound Management to be held Sunday, September 22, 2013; and a Vascular Laboratory Review Course on Monday, September 23, 2013.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the American College of Surgeons and the Western Vascular Society. The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
The American College of Surgeons designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Of the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ listed above, a maximum of 4.5 credits meet the requirements for Self-Assessment (if attending both courses).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE MEETING
The Western Vascular Society is organizing group transfers from Calgary to the Fairmont on Saturday, September 21st. Buses will plan to depart Calgary Airport between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. There is still room on the Coach going to Jasper. Please schedule your arrival into Calgary by 1:00 p.m. to allow for Customs clearance.
Please read the following Transportation and Important Information Document which includes information about alternate travel options to Calgary and Jasper, car rental and information about the WVS Group Transfers. For attendees wishing to participate in the WVS organized group transfers from Calgary to the Fairmont and return, you must complete and return the Group Travel Form.
Return transportation will be available on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 immediately following the conclusion of the meeting. Please do not schedule your return travel before 6:30 PM.

Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card, or NEXUS card satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens. Children of all ages must present a valid passport if traveling by Air (check with your airline for specific requirements).
