The data collected in Vascular Registry ensures eligibility for CAS reimbursement. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) require data collection on high-risk patients undergoing carotid artery stenting (CAS) in order for a site to be reimbursed (see CMS Decision Memorandum).
Vascular Registry offers confidential benchmarking reports, comparing site-specific CAS baseline risk factors and complication rates to other institutions performing the same procedure.
-
Site-specific CEA vs. CAS comparing baseline risk factors and complication rates over time in your facility.
-
Site-specific CAS results by individual provider. The site will determine access to provider level.
-
"Real time" access to all your data, and the ability to download your own data for analysis.
