Scope of Work

Oversees SVS health policy activities, including coding, reimbursement, and all federal legislative and regulatory issues affecting vascular surgery

2009 - 2010 Charges

Monitor and participate in advocacy/communications efforts in support of the SAAAVE Act of 2009
Monitor and participate in advocacy/communications efforts for Medicare physician payment reform that benefits vascular surgery, including the removal of the Sustainable Growth Rate formula
Monitor and participate in advocacy/communications efforts for overall health care reform that benefits vascular surgery
Approve regulatory and local coverage decision comments
Represent SVS in CPT and RUC activities
