Scope of Work

Develops communication strategies for reaching key audiences, including: members, prospective members, referring physicians, medical students/residents and the media
Advises communications staff on content

2009 - 2010 Charges

Identify and provide direction to develop resources for SVS member use in promoting individual practices locally and the specialty nationally
Develop and implement strategies and provide direction for materials to reach the general public with information about vascular disease and the role of vascular surgeons
Develop and implement strategies and provide direction for materials to educate referring physicians with messages about vascular disease and the role of vascular surgeons
Provide consultation to SVS staff developing media materials on issues of interest to SVS, e.g. newsworthy research findings in vascular surgery
