Hold a Vascular Screening Event in Vascular Awareness Month, September 2007

Customizable Screening Event Toolkit Is Now Available Online

SVS is joining with other vascular organizations in promoting National Vascular Awareness Month in September. We encourage all members to conduct a free screening event in September to raise public awareness of vascular health and the role of the vascular surgeon. Holding a screening event at any time during the year is also encouraged.

A free-to-members turn-key Screening Event Toolkit is available in the Members Only section of VascularWeb. It contains all the information, forms, and promotional materials you need to conduct a screening event including: Screening Event Guidelines, Event Planning Timeline, Materials Checklist, Screening Forms, and Screening Event Press Kit. Also included are patient education materials that have been professionally designed and can be customized with space for you to enter your own contact information and print from your computer.

Include your Screening Event in the SVS Vascular Awareness Month promotion. Your event will be listed on VascularWeb. E-mail your screening event date, time, and location, or e-mail any questions about the Screening Event Toolkit or Members Only section to communications@vascularsociety.org.
