Maintenance of Certification Article

In 2006 all member Boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties entered a new era, that of Maintenance of Certification. The ABMS and its member Boards recently have taken the next step to add value to the certification process, "Maintenance of Certification."

This process will be required of all certificates issued after 2005 (including those certificates issued in the "recertification" process). It is therefore of utmost importance that all physicians holding any certificate issued by the American Board of Surgery to familiarize themselves with and participate in this process.

Members Only Section & Available ToolKits

In March SVS premiered the Members Only section. This part of VascularWeb houses practice resources available only to SVS members. The updated Vascular Screening Toolkit is housed in the Members Only section and a comprehensive practice branding toolkit will be available in the Members Only section in June. This also is the area where you can pay your dues online. Go to the Members Only button on the VascularWeb home page and follow the directions to log in.
