How to Use: Toolkit

SVS' study of referring physicians indicated they want more info about the procedures vascular surgeons are skilled to perform, and they would like more direct contact from their local vascular surgeon. The SVS Branding Toolkit for Referring Physicians offers materials to help you reach out to the physicians in your community. It includes a professionally designed brochure entitled, Provide Expert Vascular Care for Your Patients, that you may order at the Members Only section of VascularWeb.org. It provides space to personalize the brochure by printing your practice contact information. It may be mailed as a stand-alone piece or with an accompanying letter. A sample introduction letter is included in the kit.

The Toolkit also has instructions for giving a dinner for referring physicians including a timetable, sample invitation, and thank-you letter. You may choose from a series of PowerPoint slides contributed by SVS members to use in making presentations at grand rounds and other educational events and a series of vascular health articles appropriate for the general public to offer to referring physicians for their newsletters.
