The 61st Annual Meeting of the SVS will be held June 7-10, 2007, at The Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Md., and promises to live up to its reputation as the premier annual meeting for vascular specialists. The Peripheral Vascular Surgical Society, the Society for Vascular Nursing, the Society for Vascular Ultrasound and the Society for Vascular Medicine and Biology will meet in conjunction with the SVS.
New Educational Activities
This year, we are pleased to announce that five new educational activities have been added to our already wide-ranging, carefully selected scientific program:
- Additional Breakfast Sessions - participants can choose from two concurrent sessions June 7-9 for a total of three sessions throughout the meeting
- Additional Postgraduate Courses - on June 6 participants can choose to attend three sessions from a total of six courses offered*
- Branding Your Practice Special Session - on June 9 attendees can learn how to brand their practice by establishing their reputation as the community's leading resource on vascular health. A panel of members and a branding consultant will offer various strategies to raise awareness with the media, with referring physicians and with future patients. SVS will provide a comprehensive branding toolkit with turn-key branding materials.
- Clinical Debates - back by popular demand, these will cover hot topics in vascular surgery
- Joint Scientific Session with the Society for Vascular Medicine and Biology on the "State-of-the-Art Medical Therapy in Vascular Disease: A Multidisciplinary Discussion"
*Note there is an added fee for the Postgraduate Courses.
