September Is National Vascular Awareness Month

The SVS is involved in two important programs to promote National Vascular Awareness Month.

  1. PBS Special on Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. Select PBS stations will air a half-hour program on AAA as part of the Healthy Body series. Several SVS members are interviewed on the program. SVS and VascularWeb will be referenced as resources for more information.
  2. Stay in Circulation Campaign. The SVS is a member of the P.A.D. Coalition and is supporting a three-year Stay in Circulation campaign, a national effort to raise awareness about peripheral artertial disease.
