Fellowship Development Assistance Program

Recognizing the critical need to increase the number of vascular fellowship programs in the US, SVS and the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery (APDVS) have created a new program to help SVS members interested in beginning new or expanding existing fellowship programs.

There are currently many high-volume and quality vascular surgery practices that could sustain a vascular fellowship. Beginning July 1, the new Fellowship Development Assistance Program (FDAP) is positioned to help these practices create new program applications to the ACGME.
