Previous studies have shown that adult CD34+ stem cells could be involved in the creation of new blood vessels, and this therapy is being investigated to see if it can be an effective treatment for Critical Limb Ischemia.
A new study evaluating an investigational treatment using the patient's own CD34+ stem cells collected from peripheral blood is being conducted to determine if this treatment could improve vascular circulation, help heal wounds, and possibly reduce the incidence and/or severity of lower limb amputation.
To qualify for this study, a patient must meet the following criteria:
Qualified participants will receive study-related laboratory tests, evaluations and study treatment at no cost. Reasonable transportation costs may also be provided.
