2013 Annual Meeting
The 2013 Annual Meeting of the New England Society for Vascular Surgery will take place at the Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont (September 27-29, 2013).  For over a century Stowe has attracted the world's most discerning travelers, who have cherished the beauty of the area's covered bridges, sparkling lakes, rambling woodlands and majestic peaks. Having opened in June 2008, Stowe Mountain Lodge sets a new standard of luxury and aesthetics for the East Coast's most magnificent resort. Built at the base of Stowe Mountain Resort, in the new "Vermont-Alpine" style, Stowe Mountain Lodge offers a truly luxurious setting, while still paying respect to the Vermont traditions of utilizing local artisan products and embracing the tranquility of nature.

Abstract Submission
The abstract submission site for the 40th Annual Meeting in Stowe is now closed.  Notification to individuals who successfully submitted an abstract by the posted deadline will be sent via email late May. 

Student/Resident Initiative Program
As part of its ongoing effort to encourage students and residents to explore vascular surgery as a specialty, the New England Society for Vascular Surgery established a sponsorship program to enable medical school students and residents to attend the Annual Meeting of the Society.  Sponsorships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, divided evenly between medical students and general surgery residents, as well as fairly distributed among the various institutions within the region.

Medical students and residents (PGY 1-4) attending an accredited program in one of the six New England states are eligible for sponsorship.  Fellows are not eligible.  Applications must be received no later then Wednesday, August 14, 2013.  Notification will be sent to accepted individuals via email—so please write your name and email address clearly on the application.
