Speakers     

Sean P. Roddy, MD, is the CPT Advisor for the Society for Vascular Surgery and serves as Chair of the SVS Health Policy Committee. He has lectured nationally on billing and coding issues. He is a practicing vascular and endovascular surgeon with The Vascular Group in Albany, N.Y.

Robert M. Zwolak, MD, PhD, is a vascular surgeon and professor of surgery at Dartmouth Medical School and Chief of Surgery at the White River Junction VA Medical Center. He maintains a busy clinical practice in open and interventional vascular surgery. He has extensive vascular surgery coding expertise, having served on the SVS Health Policy Committee for over 15 years. He is a past member of the American College of Surgeons General Surgery Coding and Reimbursement Committee, and  served two terms on the American Medical Association/Specialty Society Relative Value Update Committee (RUC). Dr. Zwolak just completed a term on the CMS Ambulatory Payment Category Panel. He is a past president of the Society for Vascular Surgery.

Learning Objective
Upon completion of the following programs, participants should be able to: 
       1. Discuss the 2014 CPT code and Medicare changes.

Target Audience
This course is designed for vascular surgeons and their office staff including practice managers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, surgery schedulers, coders, and others who seek to be updated on the 2014 CPT coding changes for vascular surgery.
 
Accreditation 
The Society for Vascular Surgery is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation of Credit
The Society for Vascular Surgery designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAPC Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Credit

For CME credits, participants will review online webinar, complete participant evaluation and receive CME certificate by email.  

For CEU credits, participants will review online webinar, take the online exam, complete participant evaluation and upon a passing score of 70% receive CEU certificate by email.
