 Call for Late-Breaking Clinical Trials

The SVS Program Committee is calling for abstracts of late-breaking clinical trials for the 2014 Vascular Annual Meeting, June 5-7 in Boston, MA. Submissions will be presented at a plenary session on Saturday, June 7 from 2:05 pm - 3:00 pm. Preference will be given to prospective multi-institutional trials. Since the concept is to provide Vascular Annual Meeting attendees with “late-breaking” trial data, retrospective analyses will not be considered. Publication is encouraged, but not required in the Journal of Vascular Surgery.

An abstract must be submitted by March 17, 2014. Abstracts may have up to a maximum of 2,000 characters. Please be sure to include the following sections and responses to the questions with the submission. The title, authors, affiliations, and answers to the two questions are not included in the overall character limit. You are allowed a maximum of one table, figure, graph, or image.

What quality gap (limitation or problem) with the practice of vascular surgery does this research address?

education@vascularsociety.org. You can access the disclosure form​. Please note that submissions without completed disclosure forms from all the authors will not be considered.
