 What's New This Year

Clinical Practice Track

For example, one track will concentrate on clinically active surgeons and will focus on topics such as best practices, hospital negotiations, meaningful use, practice pearls, and more.

SVS/STS/AATS Symposium: Advances and Controversies in the Contemporary Management of Complex Thoraco-abdominal Aneurysmal Disease
Advances in technology, both surgical and endovascular, have outpaced common clinical practice knowledge resulting in new paradigms in patient treatment, particularly for complex aortic aneurysms. This session will focus on aneurysms involving the visceral vessels, as well as acute and chronic dissections.

International Forum

SVS Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) Annual Report
With more than 200 participating centers and data from approximately 75,000 procedures, SVS VQI has matured to the point that a dedicated Vascular Annual Meeting session was designed for the presentation of both quality related reports and scientific papers based on regional and national VQI data.
