 Vascular Research Awards and Activities

The SVS® Foundation is the Society for Vascular Surgery's® (SVS) philanthropic foundation that offers research awards to qualified vascular surgeons. The SVS Foundation is dedicated to reducing death and disability due to vascular disease.

Through SVS Foundation Programs, investigative research continues to shape the future of vascular medicine and provide hope for understanding and ameliorating disease of the circulatory system. The programs seek to fulfill their mission through the granting of research awards, the coordination of a registry to evaluate new endovascular technologies, and an annual research conference. SVS Foundation is committed to the expansion of programs so that many more of the highly-qualified individuals who apply for awards may receive funding.

In addition to the generous support of individuals, foundations, and the government, support from the corporate community is needed. SVS Foundation welcomes the opportunity to discuss the establishment of corporately funded and co-branded Lifeline Programs. This is an opportunity to sustain preferred areas of study, to play a vital role in the continued development of the profession, and to advance the philanthropic image of a company while receiving significant recognition in widely-distributed promotional materials.

Unrestricted donations enable SVS Foundation to best match funding with qualified applicants.
