CHICAGO - The Society for Vascular Surgery® (SVS) announced the launch of its redesigned Web site, www.VascularWeb.org. The most significant upgrade is the improved navigation. It features vascular health resources for the public, medical professionals, medical students, residents, and the media. The site receives more than three million visitors annually.
“VascularWeb.org is the most comprehensive medical Web site for information about vascular health,” said Robert Zwolak, MD, SVS president. “We receive the most hits on our Conditions, Tests, and Treatments section, which offers detailed descriptions of the tests and treatments we perform for vascular conditions. We’ve expanded resources for medical professionals in the Practice Resources and Health Policy sections. Medical students and residents have access to current training programs at Medical Students, Residents, Trainees.”
The site serves as valuable background on vascular health to the media. Reporters may access current press releases on vascular research published in SVS’ Journal of Vascular Surgery® and SVS news.
