The Society for Vascular Surgery® (SVS) is a not-for-profit professional medical society with 4,008 members, primarily vascular surgeons, who are the only physicians who are trained to provide patients with all vascular disease treatment options.
SVS Mission Statement
The SVS seeks to advance excellence and innovation in vascular health through education, advocacy, research, and public awareness. The organization was founded in 1947 and currently has a membership of more than 4,000. SVS membership is recognized in the vascular community as a mark of professional achievement.
