 SVS® Foundation Legacy Program

The SVS Foundation’s Legacy Program honors donors who have made major contributions during their lifetimes.

The Society for Vascular Surgery considers SVS Foundation Legacy contributors to be caring leaders who understand the critical need for innovative researchers. Their exceptional support has made it possible for the SVS Foundation to award grants to ensure researchers have the resources they need to start and continue their research careers. Equally important, these contributors know vascular patients are the primary beneficiaries of the high-quality research conducted by vascular surgeons. The Foundation's Legacy Program includes those who have contributed a total of $10,000 or more to the SVS Foundation during their lifetime are honored in perpetuity for their commitment to the specialty.

How it works

All contributions made during Annual Appeals, the Open the Pathway campaign, and the Hobson Resident Research Fund are accumulated and included in a donor’s lifetime contribution*. Once a donor reaches a lifetime total donation of $10,000 they are recognized in the Benefactor’s Circle. Then, as their lifetime total contributions continue to grow with each donation, and when they reach the next Legacy Circle of $25,000, they join the Director’s Circle, and so forth. Contributors have the opportunity to continue giving and reaching the highest Circle possible.
