Letter of Intent (Due October 1, 2012)
The letter should not exceed two pages plus a Biosketch for the PI (NIH format, up to 15 publications, active/pending support). The letter should describe the parent proposal and goals of the Planning Grant in enough detail to assess the maturity of the proposal being developed, impact and importance of the clinical question being addressed; the study focus and scope, the experimental design and key methodology, appropriateness of the targeted funding agency, strength of collaborators and other key personnel, and feasibility of successfully accomplishing the proposed Planning Grant within the period of support.
The letter must be received no later than midnight, October 1, 2012. The letter may be addressed to the SVS Research Council, 633 North Saint Clair, 22nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60611.
