 Full Application Instructions for SVS Foundation Multicenter Clinical Studies Planning Grant

(By invitation only)

(Due February 1, 2013) should include the following:
  1. Multicenter Clinical Studies Planning Grant Face Page
  2. Planning Grant Specific Aims (one page)
  3. Research Strategy (maximum 12 pages) 
    • Include Significance, Innovation, Experimental Approach and a Time-Line
    • Experimental Approach must adequately describe statistical methods and issues of power and sample size
    • Page format: Arial font, at least 11 point font, margins of at least 0.5 inch
  4. Bibliography
  5. Budget (maximum US$100,000, direct costs only
  6. Budget Justification
  7. Biosketch for each Co-Investigator (NIH format, include other support)
  8. If applicable, letter(s) of support from significant collaborator or consultant on the project
  9. IRB approval (will be required from proposed research sites prior to distribution of funds)
  10. Disclosure of any parallel grant applications (pending or awarded) with overlap to the present application
Full proposals must be received no later than midnight, February 1, 2013.
