Scope of Work

  • Develop and implement Political Action Committee (PAC) fundraising strategies
  • Promote the PAC during VAM and at regional meetings

2012-2013 Charges

  • Educate Society for Vascular Surgery® members about the PAC and how it serves the specialty through SVS publications
  • Develop and implement effective peer-to-peer fundraising including at regional meetings
  • Staff a booth, give presentations, host a reception, promote the PAC in the daily newspaper and provide fundraising materials in tote bags at the Vascular Annual Meeting® to raise PAC funds
  • Create a formal Annual Report; publicsh it in Vascular Specialist and distribute it at VAM
  • Increase leadership commitment and contributions to the PAC
  • Provide recognition of donors at VAM and in publications
