 Testimonials

"The amazing and fast technological advances, especially in diagnostic imaging and endovascular techniques in vascular surgery, demand great technical expertise and constant updating. This forces vascular surgeons to be in constant contact with major medical centers around the world. We are in a new world where many geographical and cultural barriers have broken in favor of a common goal - progress. Under this new point of view the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery works to approach new partnerships where we can share experiences and develop together."
-Calogero Presti, President of the SVS Brazilian Chapter

“I personally have a strong connection to American vascular surgeons since I first visited the Mayo Clinic in 1983 and was appointed there in 1990-91. I have visited the professional congresses almost every year. The decision to create a Hungarian chapter of the SVS was quite obvious.  When the highly respected Emerick Szilágyi, who was Hungarian, passed away we decided to create a chapter named after him. It is a honor for a small group of Hungarian vascular surgeons to get information on the scientific, educational, and organizational  trends  of the SVS, as well as be involved into its activities.”
-Csaba Dzsinich MD, PhD, FICA, President of SVS Hungarian Chapter
