Scope of Work

• Provide oversight and review of SVS documents and multispecialty consensus documents

2012-2013 Charges

• Perform editorial review of SVS documents (reporting standards, practice guidelines, position statements and other SVS committee documents) submitted for publication in Journal of Vascular Surgery (Note: data-derived papers are peer reviewed through the JVS review process; the DOC reviews guidelines and opinion papers) 
• Monitor SVS documents and multispecialty consensus documents in development 
• Perform review of multispecialty consensus documents
• Provide recommendations to SVS Board of Directors for JVS publication of SVS documents
• Provide recommendations to SVS Board of Directors for SVS approval of multispecialty consensus documents
• Provide recommendation to SVS Board of Directors for new document topics for development as needed
