Scope of Work

  • Develop Society for Vascular Surgery® (SVS) programs to address minority issues in vascular surgery

Charges

  • Identify ways to improve representation of women and minorities in SVS and regional leadership positions. 
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Development Committee on activities targeted to minorities and women.
  • Collaborate with the Resident and Student Outreach Committee on recruitment and mentorship of minority and female residents and students into vascular surgery.
  • Implement the Minority Medical Student Scholarship Program and Women’s Leadership Award.
