Scope of Work

• Oversee compliance with Society for Vascular Surgery® (SVS) Guidelines for Industry Support

2012-2013 Charges

• Review COI disclosures for the SVS Board, council and committee members, staff and any other SVS volunteers in positions subject to company influence
• Notify and advise SVS Executive Committee on identified COIs
• Serve as the final ararbitrator for any unresolved CME conflicts of interest
• Review appeals
• Ensure, in accordance with AACME criteria that ny individual who fails to disclose relevant financial information is disqualified from serving on any committee with CME planning responsibility or oversight, including the SVS Board, councils and committees
• Review Society compliance with SVS Guidelines for Industry Support and report to the Board of Directors in January 2012
