Thank You to Medical Editor K. Wayne Johnston

The May/June VASCULAR SPECIALIST marks the inaugural issue with a new Medical Editor, Dr. George Andros, a dedicated member of the Editorial Board since the publication's inception. With this transition, SVS would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. K. Wayne Johnston for his years of dedication and hard work as the first Medical Editor of VASCULAR SPECIALIST. Dr. Johnston was very instrumental in the initial concept and development of the publication, as well as making VASCULAR SPECIALIST into the well-respected publication it is today. The Society is grateful to the many hours and concerted effort he has given to the publication and to the vascular surgery specialty at large. We would also like to thank Dr. Andros for taking over the reigns of this publication and helping to further its evolution.
