What’s New At The 2008 Vascular Annual Meeting?

Vascular 2008 Reception – A Taste of California Wine

Attend this year’s opening reception on Thursday, June 5 at 5:30 pm in Exhibit Hall B1.  The reception features wines from the world-renowned California wineries.  Local entertainment will also be provided.  Keeping with this year’s theme, a case of wine will be raffled at the conclusion of the reception – be sure to look for the raffle card in your tote bag.  All members, guests and exhibitors are welcome to attend this event. The Taste of California Wine Reception is supported by Boston Scientific.

Exhibitor Education/Training Pavilions

The Education and Device Training Pavilions will offer attendees an opportunity for education and training in a convenient and more personal environment.  The pavilions are located in Hall B1 of the San Diego Convention Center.

Information regarding registration for pavilion activities will be updated as it becomes available and will also be posted in the registration area of the San Diego Convention Center.

Plenary Session Downloads

We are pleased to announce that the SVS Plenary Session presentations will be available for download in the exhibit hall. Be sure to visit the Medtronic Booth #301 or the SVS Education Booth, #610 in Hall B1 during exhibit hours to download the presentations using the flash drives that will be distributed to each professional attendee in the registration area. Please note the SVS Plenary Sessions will be available for downloading only after the sessions have been presented. The Plenary Session Downloads and Flash Drives are supported by Medtronic.

Cyber Café

The Cyber Café will be located in the exhibit hall B1 of the San Diego Convention Center.  Attendees may use the Cyber Café to check or send email and stay in touch with the office.  New features this year include attendee and exhibitor locator as well as boarding pass printing.  Please be courteous to your fellow colleagues and limit your time during peak hours.  The Cyber Café will be open during exhibit hours. The Cyber Cafe is supported by Boston Scientific.

Simulcasting available in exhibit hall!

Back by popular demand, attendees will be able to view plenary presentations directly at exhibitor booths!  Simulcasting will take place during plenary hours when the exhibit hall is open.

Follow the Red Carpet!

The red carpet will make an appearance at this year’s Vascular Annual Meeting.  To help guide attendees throughout the San Diego Convention Center, a red carpet will be installed from the Plenary session room to the entrance of the exhibit hall.  Be sure to visit the exhibits and support our partnering sponsors who play an integral part of the Vascular Annual Meeting!
