The over 1000 participants, coming from both Europe and overseas, who attended the 2004 and 2006 editions, encouraged the Chairmen (Prof. R. Chiesa, Prof. O. Alfieri and Prof. A. Zangrillo) to organise this new meeting that, besides vascular and cardiac surgeons, will involve cardiovascular anesthesiologists, in order to offer a special occasion for interdisciplinary debate. |
