Course Description: This symposium is structured as a practical, clinically oriented review of ultrasound. A mix of ob-gyn, body, musculoskeletal, pediatric and vascular lectures are included so registrants can expand their clinical practices. Tips, protocols and pitfalls provide balance to the program. Faculty have been selected for their teaching ability, as well as for their expertise.

Main Topics: Educational Objectives: Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to assess new developments in evaluating obstetrical and gynecological patients; utilize ultrasound to assess patients with a variety of abdominal and pelvic disorders; evaluate patients for thyroid and parathyroid disease using ultrasound imaging techniques; expand clinical protocols for evaluating the vascular system; discuss the use of ultrasound in evaluation of the kidneys and urinary tract; incorporate state of the art imaging techniques for evaluation of breast cancer into clinical practice; and discuss the clinical application of ultrasound imaging to evaluate the musculoskeletal system. No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.

Other Information: Target Audience: This course should benefit those who order, perform and interpret clinical ultrasound studies. It should be particularly valuable for diagnostic imaging physicians, ob-gyn physicians, vascular surgeons and referring physicians who utilize ultrasound to evaluate the clinical status of their patients. The symposium should also be valuable for sonographers who perform these procedures. Tuition is $875 for physicians, scientists and company representatives. Tuition is $635 for P.A., technologists, retired physicians, residents*, fellows*, active military*, and VA physicians.* (* Must receive letter from your director certifying status.)
