36th Annual VEITHsymposium November 18-22, 2009 Hilton New York New York City, New York	VEITHsymposium provides vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists and other vascular specialists with a unique and exciting format to learn the most current information about what is new and important in the treatment of vascular disease. The 5-day event featured rapid-fire presentations from world renowned vascular specialists with emphasis on the latest advances, changing concepts in diagnosis and management, pressing controversies and new techniques. Registration is free for U.S. and Canadian Vascular Surgery Fellows in Training with letter from Chief of Service.
Northwestern Vascular Symposium December 10-13, 2009 The Fairmont Hotel Chicago, Illinois	This course is designed to evaluate the proposed changes in healthcare and its impact on vascular surgery. It will review all of the pertinent vascular beds, including the carotid arteries, thoracic outlet, upper extremity, abdominal and thoracic aortas and the venous system. In addition, the symposium will cover important areas of the vascular laboratory and essentials of coding.
International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy Annual Meeting January 17-21, 2010 Westin Diplomat Hollywood, Florida	ISET brings together a spectrum of specialists to cover the innovations, tackle the controversies, deliver the research and advance the kind of cross-disciplinary thinking that results in optimal patient care and improved outcomes. Abstract submssion is now closed. Residents and fellows can get reduced registration fee with letter from program director.
Southern Association for Vascular Surgery 34th Annual Meeting January 20-23, 2010 Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas	On January 20, Vascular Surgery Mock Oral Examinations will be held to prepare Candidate Members and Vascular Surgery Fellows for the Vascular Surgery Qualifying Examination. Abstract submission is now closed.
Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society 20th Annual Winter Meeting January 29-31, 2010 Marriott Vail Mountain Resort Vail, Colorado	Twenty-four papers are accepted for oral presentation, with submission to Annals of Vascular Surgery. A new session, Complex Vascular Cases, will be held on January 30. Last year 12 case reports were presented in this session. Abstract submission is now closed.
Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery 2010 Annual Symposium April 6-10, 2010 Westin Kierland Resort & Spa Scottsdale, Arizona	Offers Incoming Fellows Program, which is dedicated to the needs of 5th year residents that have been accepted to a vascular fellowship program. Also offers educational programs for current vascular fellows and young vascular surgeons. Abstract submission is now closed.
2010 SVS Research Initiatives in Vascular Disease Conference April 7, 2010 San Francisco Hilton San Francisco, California	This one-day conference is designed to encourage interaction between vascular surgeon investigators and scientists from other vascular biology-related disciplines. A particular objective is to stimulate interest in research among trainees who are aspiring academic vascular surgeons. Abstracts are due January 4, 2010.
Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology 2010 Scientific Sessions April 8-10, 2010 Hilton Union Square San Francisco, California	The meeting includes diverse disciplines within the arteriosclerosis, thrombosis, and vascular biology communities that allow investigators to explore areas of cross-disciplinary interests. A broad representation from many disciplines is expected and young scientists are encouraged to attend. The conference offers various awards and prizes for young investigators. Abstract are due January 11, 2010.
Society for Vascular Surgery 2010 Vascular Annual Meeting  June 10-13, 2010 Hynes Convention Center Boston, Masschusetts	Offers travel scholarships for general surgery residents and medical students. Registration is free for vascular trainees, general surgery residents, and students. Travel scholarship applications for general surgery residents and medical students will be available in early 2010. Abstracts are due January 4, 2010.
Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society 35th Annual Spring Meeting June 11-12, 2010 Boston, Masschusetts	The 35th Annual Spring Meeting will be held during the 2010 Vascular Annual Meeting. Abstracts are due January 4, 2010.
Society for Vascular Ultrasound Annual Conference June 11-12, 2010 Boston,  Masschusetts	Offers Alex Chao, MD, Young Investigators Award for Excellence in Scientific Research for residents and fellows, as well as student awards. Call for papers deadline is February 10, 2010.
New England Society for Vascular Surgery Annual Meeting 2010 Dates TBD	The meeting is designed to provide two days of comprehensive educational experiences in the fields of vascular surgery and disease, related sciences and the socioeconomic aspects of vascular surgical care. Itinical and research findings. Offer student travel awards. Residents can attend for free with letter from Chief of Service.
VIVA October 18-22, 2010 Aria Las Vegas, Nevada	VIVA features live cases, didactic presentations, and Laptop Learning activities  addressing aortic aneurysms; carotid, brachiocephalic, renal/mesenteric, aortoiliac, and infrainguinal peripheral arterial disease; and venous thromboembolic disease. VIVA focuses on medical and interventional therapy, highlighting algorithms for the use of these drugs and devices, techniques, case selection, and complications. Tuition is waived for Fellows with the submission of a case study.
Arthur C. Nielson, Jr. Vascular Conference  2010 Dates TBD	The event will cover a wide variety of clinical problems related to vascular disease, including the latest advances in genetics and the most effective means of treating the statin intolerant patient. This clinically oriented program will include case-based patient management discussions, so that clinicians can acquire the tools they need to deliver the most efficacious care for their patients.
