Todd R. Vogel, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Surgery, UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, N.J., Presented Award by the American Vascular Association
CHICAGO (July 13, 2009) —
Dr. Todd R. Vogel was presented the American Vascular Association®/Lifeline Foundation E. J. Wylie Traveling Fellowship Award during the Vascular Annual Meeting® on June 11, 2009. This award is presented to assist a fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery® with travel and professional exchange within established vascular centers in the United States and abroad.
Dr. Vogel is an assistant professor of surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and attending vascular surgery physician and surgical critical care medical director at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, both in New Brunswick, N.J. He was chosen for the E. J. Wylie Traveling Fellowship Award to gain expertise from sites in the U.S. and Canada on new fenestrated aortic graft technology, while at the same time improving his outcomes research knowledge and methodologies.
The E. J. Wylie Traveling Fellowship Award provides the recipient the opportunity to briefly visit other vascular centers to stimulate academic inspiration, promote international exchange, and foster development of fraternal fellowship in vascular surgery. These objectives enhance the development of the fellow’s career in vascular surgery.
