Scope of Work

  • Develop SVS programs and materials to facilitate development of new residency programs in vascular surgery

2009 - 2010 Charges

  • Identify general surgery residency programs or other sites with good potential to develop vascular residency programs
  • Develop materials to assist in creation of new vascular residency programs, including:  adding positions to existing sites, changing status or paradigm, or creating a new program with or without an associated general surgery program
  • Work to promote acceptance of the 0-5 training paradigm  
  • Evaluate current SVS Fellowship Development Assistance Program (FDAP) and modify or expand as appropriate
  • Work with APDVS as appropriate
