  • Oversees Vascular Registry®
  • Oversees Catastrophic Thoracic Aortic Indications Database
  • Identifies and develops outcomes studies

2009-2010 Charges

  • Continue efforts to communicate with SVS Members about Vascular Registry (VR)
  • Develop plan for adding other procedures to VR, including lower extremity, AAA, AV access
  • Monitor SQA registry and NSQIP for potential VR participation
    Conduct and publish additional analysis of VR data
  • Submit NIH Challenge Grant (with NERI):  aim is to design a feasible randomized trial of carotid stenting vs. carotid endarterectomy vs. current best medical therapy
  • Continue progress on catastrophic thoracic aortic indications database, for development of FDA Master Access File(s)
