Call for Abstracts

SVS is calling for abstracts for the 2010 SVS Research Initiatives in Vascular Disease Conference, along with the 2010 Vascular Annual Meeting and Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology Annual Conference. Visit the Vascular Annual Meeting Call for Abstracts page to submit your abstract online. Paper abstract submissions will not be accepted.

About the Conference

The one-day conference is designed to encourage interaction between vascular surgeon investigators and scientists from other vascular biology-related disciplines. A particular objective is to stimulate interest in research among trainees who are aspiring academic vascular surgeons.

The theme of this year's meeting is Research Models of Human Vascular Disease. The session topics include:

  • Session I: Towards a Better Model of Peripheral Arterial Disease - Chronic Disease
  • Session II: Towards a Better Model of Peripheral Arterial Disease - Acute Disease, Ischemia/Reperfusion
  • Session III: Vascular Endothelium and Thrombosis
  • Session IV: Aneurysms
