Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 300,000 to 600,000 people in the United States have deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism (PE), and nearly one-third who have a PE die. Penetrating Ulcers of the AortaPenetrating ulcers represent one of several atherosclerotic, degenerative diseases of the aorta.
