Impact Of Deficit Reduction Act Of 2005 On Imaging Cuts

Imaging cuts are currently the SVS members’ number one government relations concern.  Across the board cuts to the technical component of in-office imaging services were included as part of the 2005 Deficit Reduction Act (DRA) that was signed into law by President Bush in February 2006. It is important the SVS membership understands the consequences of the DRA. This PowerPoint presentation was made at the 2006 Vascular Annual Meeting by Robert Zwolak, MD, Ph.D, and explains how the law will affect vascular imaging services. The SVS suggests you use this PowerPoint presentation in your speeches to help our membership understand the consequences of DRA.
