Winnipeg Vascular Endovascular CME Symposium

This multidisciplinary conference provides attendees current state of the art information regarding diagnosis and management of all aspects of vascular diseases. Vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, podiatrists, fellows and residents, nurses and other allied health professionals will have an opportunity to participate in a comprehensive and interactive forum on peripheral vascular disease.

As in previous years topics will include an overview and prospective in various areas of vascular disease including carotid, interventional topics, hemoaccess, thoracic aorta, abdominal aortic aneurysms and EVAR, vascular medicine and infrainguinal arterial disease. In addition there will be a session on education and manpower. In response to audience requests this year’s conference has been modified to increase the opportunity for audience participation with case presentations as well as the use of an interactive audience response system.

One of the highlights every year is the Fellows’ Day (April 22) with representation from all the Vascular Surgery Training Programs across Canada. The various presentations by the vascular fellows with program directors moderating the sessions represent a great opportunity for exposure and education to various vascular topics presented from a vascular fellow’s perspective.
